A short experimental film about modern life
Residents of California have saved unprecedented levels of water by taking shorter showers and converting lawns to drought-friendly vegetation.
Yet the biggest use of water per capita, food, hasn't received the same attention.
This PSA visualizes the amount of water that goes into different foods. One hamburger requires 800 gallons of water to produce, an equivalent to over a month of showers. With this PSA the public can make more informed choices regrading food and water use.

A proposed rebrand for the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
The repositioning of the Science Center would have temporary exhibits on a single theme rotating roughly every other month, mimicking the pace of an art gallery and providing a space for relevant and topical science in the public sphere.
Exhibits would be created by guest and resident artists. In the tradition of thinkers like James Turrell, Pierre Huyghe and Janet Echelman, these exhibits would aim to make science an experience and to give an ah-ha! moment as the visitor engages and participates with all their senses.
The visual direction for the rebrand emphasizes the experimental and participatory nature of science. The messy nature of failing early and failing often is represented in the analog textures.
Key words such as radioactive, gritty, perception, surprise and unknown figure as design drivers.
